Yousef continues his activity within the woodworking industry and joins the Vancouver Wood Arts Society.

The Vancouver Wood Arts Society was formed to promote the joy, art and craft of fine woodworking, both locally and internationally. The society is a non-profit organization with a growing membership of men and women who demonstrate a breadth of interest and skill, ranging from fine furniture, musical instruments, turnings, cabinetry, trim and finish carpentry, to decorative art. The Society, through forums such as semi-annual exhibitions and shows, demonstrates that fine woodworking is a thriving, proudly practiced and valued craft.
